victories. I think I've talked about these in

the past. I'm not actually sure. I've recorded

so many episodes at this point, I am starting

to lose track of what things I've talked about

and what I haven't. But I'm excited today wanting

to share this non -scale victory because I am

down another pant size. Yesterday, I knew I needed

to go get some more pants because the ones I

was originally wearing whenever I started this

insane getting serious journey back in July,

they were just so big that I was literally having
00:44
to use almost like a rope belt to keep them up.

And so I was like, all right, that's it. That's

enough. It's time. I need to go get a new pair.

And I grabbed a pair that I thought was going

to be too small because. I don't know, just something

told me, just give it a try, see how tight they

are. And y 'all, when I tell you that they slid

on so easily that I looked in the mirror and

I just started crying tears of joy. Holy cow,

like it just, I jumped up and down and I just

was so excited that I had dropped another pant

size. So since July 14th, 2025, I have dropped

four pant sizes. That is nuts to me. My goal

was to get into the pant size that I'm in now,

and I'm shocked as hell that I did it this quickly,

like truly. I didn't expect to to get down to

the size that I am now as quick as I did. I know

I've been working really hard and and all that

jazz, but I literally just I was in awe and I'm

still in awe. And I I've looked at my. I looked

at my pants a few times today, like making sure

like, oh, do they actually fit? Am I OK? Am I

going to rip my pants? Am I good? But no, they

actually fit. And y 'all, it is the best feeling

like. The scale hasn't changed quite to the degree

that I was hoping it would, but I'm told that

it's because muscles weigh more than fat. And

so that's probably one of the big factors that's

contributing to the fact that I'm nowhere near

the weight that I wanted to be. But I guess it's

true that, you know, as long as your pants fit

better and you're getting into the size that

you wanted, gains are happening. Good things

are happening. So I'm just I'm tickled pink.

And I wanted to share this milestone because.

It just, it feels so good. And I just want to

share it because I want to inspire people to

achieve their own goals, their own fitness goals.

And I'm not going to call them weight loss goals

anymore. I'm going to call them fitness goals

because that's what they really are. Because

even though I'm not dropping weight, I am gaining

muscle and I am losing inches. And oh God, it

just feels so good. And I want more of this.

I'm going to keep going. Like I said in a previous

episode, I am going to just ride this wave as

long as I possibly can. I'm going to enjoy the

hell out of this movement as much as I can, because

after as many years as I had of a sedentary lifestyle,

to be moving as much as I am just feels so good.

And yes, I'm in pain today. I actually hurt my

shoulder, but the pain I'm feeling is absolutely

worth it. And it's so much better than the pain

I was feeling before of just existing. I just

wanted to share this because I said I was going

to be raw and real and transparent. And so this

is my my victory lap of holy crap. I'm down four

sizes and I do kind of want to get down one more

size. This was my goal size. But you know what?

Let's keep going. Right. Let's let's have some

fun. If I can get down one more size, that would

be. phenomenal. I would just be absolutely blown

away. And for the first time in my life, that

actually feels possible. I did not ever think

that I would say that. But if I keep going at

the rate that I'm going and I keep working the

way that I'm working, I think it's actually possible.

And and again, I've said this before and I'll

say it again. I'm not really changing my diet

very much. I'm still eating pretty much everything

that I was always eating. I will admit. Still,

it's smaller portions than it was because I literally

cannot eat more than I than I am. And I think

that's just because I'm really listening to my

body now. I'm not just stuffing myself the way

that I used to. I'm paying attention as I'm eating

and mindfully eating, but I'm not changing what

I'm eating. And yes, I have changed my my. my

beverages just a little bit. I told you guys

that I am reaching for water more than I ever

have in my whole life. So I am cutting way back

on soda, way back on juices and other beverages.

So water is like the main thing I reach for.

But other than that, the only thing that is really

a dramatic change in my life is how much I'm

moving my body. I love how much I'm moving my

body. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow

at Zumba. I'm hoping my shoulder will feel better

by then. But even if it's not, I'm going to show

up. I'm going to keep going. And onwards and
