Terms of Use
Back to home1. Overview
Donato is a platform and browser extension that helps users discover available store discounts and optionally support creators through affiliate-based commissions. By accessing or using the Donato website or browser extension, you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Donato operates as an affiliate marketing technology provider. When a user chooses to activate a discount or proceed with a supported store, Donato may use affiliate tracking links to attribute purchases and enable commission-based creator support. Donato does not sell products, process payments, or act as a merchant. All purchases are made directly with third-party stores.
3. Use of the Service
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Do not abuse discounts, manipulate coupon systems, or violate merchant terms.
- Do not attempt to interfere with affiliate attribution systems.
- Donato may restrict or suspend access if abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms is detected.
4. Affiliate Attribution and Commissions
Donato participates in affiliate programs with partner networks and merchants. Commissions are paid by stores or affiliate networks upon completed qualifying purchases. We do not guarantee that a commission will be generated, that a discount will always be available, or that a purchase will qualify for affiliate attribution. Affiliate attribution may depend on merchant policies, existing tracking cookies, and third-party systems beyond our control.
5. Browser Extension Functionality
The Donato extension activates only after voluntary installation by the user. The extension may detect supported merchants, identify checkout or cart pages, test coupon codes when initiated by the user, and redirect through affiliate links for attribution purposes. The extension does not access payment details, passwords, or unrelated browsing data.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, availability of discounts, or compatibility with all websites. We are not responsible for pricing errors, invalid coupons, or changes made by partner stores.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Donato shall not be liable for lost profits, indirect or incidental damages, or losses resulting from merchant errors or affiliate tracking failures.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms. Users may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the extension or deleting their account.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
