that I record this podcast from my car most of

the time is because it's the way I get it done.

It's kind of like with the working out. I have

to do things a certain way to make sure they

get done. I keep all of the the working out in

my calendar because if it's not in the calendar,

it will not happen. I know this about myself.

This is something I have learned that if I don't

have an appointment with myself, I will talk

myself out of it. I will tell or I'll forget

about it completely. I mean, that's the ADHD

brain in me, but it's just the facts that I have

to have these things in my calendar or they do

not exist. With the recording in my car, it is

the lowest barrier to entry to make sure that

I get my story out there. I chose to record from

my car simply because I knew that that would

actually make me do it. And so every single time

I'm on my way to the gym or on my way home, I

always have my podcast microphones in my car

with me so that I can easily plug them into my

phone and just riff on the mic. Just get going.

And I can stop anywhere. And if I need to interview

someone, I can do it because the microphones

that I have. I can clip onto myself and another

person and they both connect to my phone easily.

It's a very simple way to just get it going.

And so the big thing that I want you to take

away from this is not so much that I'm recording

it from my car. It's that I am taking away every

excuse I could possibly have to keep me from

doing it. And so it's the same with fitness.

I have to take away all excuses and make myself

do the work. And the best way to do that is to

set myself up for success. So if you are listening

the plan the day before, or even a week ahead

is? A dream without a plan is just a wish. Make

with any dream you may have for your career or

a polished, curated lie. And unfortunately, I

have to just put it that way because the truth

it is so highly polished that it feels like nobody

can live up to that level of standard. And so

this podcast will never be a perfectly polished,

beautiful thing. It's always going to be a mess.

And that's because it's real. It's raw and it's

real. And I never want to lose that because I

becoming a lie. it will start feeling unachievable.

if you want to, but don't let that impression,

that idea that you have in your head of what

you're supposed to look like stop you from working

out. I want you to just go and do it. Like, I

don't care what you're wearing. Obviously, please

wear clothes. But I want you to actually just

put in the work. So don't make it polished. It

doesn't have to be. I don't care if your hair

is not done. I don't care if you're not wearing

the perfect shoes or the cutest matching outfit.

The whole point is start putting in the work.
