Ashley introduces the episode's premise: she wants to try fitness products and classes on behalf of listeners and report back, referencing past examples like walking-in-place classes and standing Pilates.
I guess what I'm saying is, I'm willing to be
your guinea pig. What's up my movers and shakers?
Famous Ashley Grant here. Welcome to More Movement
Please, the podcast where I hope to inspire you
to move your body more. So basically, today's
episode, I just kind of want to share that I
am willing to be y 'all's guinea pig. Um, I have
started thinking about where I want this show
to go and some of the questions that I receive.
And I think it'd be kind of fun to try some products
and tell y 'all about them. Like tell you what
I'm thinking about, what I tell y 'all about
different products that I'm trying. Like if it's
a protein bar or a electrolyte supplement or.
I don't know, insert product here or insert class
here. I think that would even be fun because
I have in the past, you know, whenever there
were different classes that I've tried online,
I've told y 'all about them. Like I tried a few
walking classes where you walk in place whenever
I couldn't go outside and go for a walk. I tried
those and I told y 'all what I thought about
them. I reported back. And then I did a standing
Pilates class and told y 'all what I thought
about that. And so basically what I'm saying
is, I think it'd be fun to be y 'all's guinea
pig. I think that'd be a lot of fun to be your
guinea pig. So what I want you to do is head
to famousashagrant .com backslash feedback and
tell me what kind of things I should try. What
kind of things you want to know about? Like,
is there a product you're curious about? Is there
something that's fitness related that... you
have considered, but you'd really like someone
else to try it first, because I think that would
be just so much fun. Maybe I'm weird, but I think
Ashley draws a line at detox teas and meal replacements, explaining she's not a 'diet culture girly,' while staying open to things like protein supplements and products listeners are genuinely curious about.
that'd be a lot of fun. So hit me up, famousashtagrant
.com backslash feedback. I am already, I've already
got a few things on my list of things that I
want to try. I've told y 'all in the past that
I am not really interested in shots or pills
anymore. There is something to be said for taking
supplements because I do take a multivitamin
every day and I do take other supplements that
I have to take whenever, you know, they're health
related. But I'm not going to ever subscribe
to detox teas or, you know, meal replacement
stuff. Like I don't ever intend to do that because
I've told y 'all I'm not a diet culture girly.
I don't, I don't. plan on doing any of that.
But if there's something that gives you just
a little bit of additional protein, I can see
the benefits of that. So I'm curious about those
kinds of things. Some of the things that I've
complained about on here recently, I actually
want to try just to see. what's the hype about
like is it really that serious like hell I'll
even try the protein pancakes I don't even care
I want to try all the things that you guys are
curious about because I think it'd be fun to
put myself in the hot seat so that I can give
y 'all real facts about what I'm feeling what
I'm thinking how it was and then kind of go from
there is this something y 'all would even be
interested in that's another thing I want to
know so um Some of the things that are on my
Ashley shares specific items she's already lined up to test — an electrolyte brand she's been in talks with, a protein cookie she keeps seeing, and a protein muffin she accidentally tried at a bed and breakfast — and invites listeners to submit their own suggestions.
list right now, I do have an electrolyte company
that I've been talking to that I'm going to try
their product and I'll report back as to how
it was. And then there's like other things that
I've put on there myself, on my list myself.
Like there is a protein cookie that I keep seeing
and I'm curious. I did try recently a protein
muffin. And I only tried it because I was at
a bed and breakfast and the meal options were
a little bit limited and I was genuinely curious.
And I think I wrote it down, but I can't actually
remember. So I kind of want the excuse to have
to write things down so that I can talk about
them and tell you all what I think about them.
And I don't know, just different things. I think
it'd be so amusing because I don't know about
you guys, but whenever I'm considering products
or considering buying things, I want to know
what. people think about them before I just go
and pull the trigger myself and buy them. So
yeah, hit me up, famousashleygrant .com backslash
feedback. Onwards and upwards, my friends. Have
you worked out today?
