What's up my bloggy friends?
Welcome back to part two of 101 ways or ideas to make money from home.
In the first episode we covered one through 50 and so if you missed that check out the
link in the show notes to that episode but let's get into 51 through 101 of ideas to
make money from home.
So number 51 coming in hot with personal care and beauty products.
So this is similar to the things that we were talking about with selling candles and selling
soaps.
You can actually also create lip balms and lotions and even bath bombs or body scrubs
to sell beauty products and bath products online.
You can use websites like Etsy or Amazon HomeAid.
There's a whole bunch of ideas of places that you can sell products like that.
Number 52 is selling your clothes.
You can use a website like Bonanza or Indycart or even Facebook Marketplace.
If you are handy with a sewing machine and you want to make your own clothes you can
turn that passion into a successful business.
Number 53 and this one I found very fascinating.
It's similar to selling clothes only you're not actually making the clothes.
It's creating and selling craft patterns.
So websites like Makerist or Ravelry you can market your pattern designs on your craft
blog or social media and actually sell downloadable and printable crochet embroidery knitting
and sewing patterns.
Number 54 home decor.
You can sell home decor items on websites like iCraft, Cratejoy and Arc.
You can sell home decor products on websites like iCraft, Cratejoy and Aftcraft.
55 design custom party decorations.
Whether you're using Etsy or any of the similar websites where you're selling crafts you
can actually sell handmade creations or use print on demand services to create custom
banners, hats, dishware, games, party favors and so much more.
Number 56 sell unique gift bags and wrapping paper.
Believe it or not these things make up another valuable niche in the ecommerce marketplace.
You can use your creative talents to help others give heartfelt meaningful gifts that
are beautifully wrapped in your one-of-a-kind designs.
57 make handmade purses and tote bags.
Again you'll use websites like Etsy or Big Cartel or as I said in the last episode create
your own website and sell them on your own ecommerce store.
Number 58 create and sell handcrafted wedding favors.
So handcrafted elements are awesome because they add a personalized and memorable touch
for occasions like weddings, honeymoons, all the things and I've even seen ones for divorce
parties so that's a thing.
Number 59 start a handmade toy store.

Alright so the next category that I want to get into is bloggers.
Now here's the thing I am obsessed with blogging that's the whole reason I started this podcast
is the bloggy friends show because I love talking about the different aspects of making
money and connecting with blogging.
So there are several things I talk about related to blogging when you're trying to make money
from home.
So number 60 start a lifestyle blog.
61 is food blog.
62 history blogger and so on and so on with travel blogs and fashion blogs and finance
blogs and health and fitness blogs and teaching others about blogging or you can blog about
photography or start a crafting blog, start a music blog.
I've even seen religious and spiritual blogs or if you really want to you know split hairs
you could set up a political blog.
I've seen affiliate marketing websites all kinds of stuff so if you are interested in
learning about blogging I will be leaving in the show notes a bunch of resources to
how you could start a bunch of different varieties of blogs because let's face it if you have
a blog you can create a business from it.
That's just all there is to it.
Number 73 make extra money with affiliate marketing.
That is one of my favorite ways to make money online and I have a bunch of episodes that
I can link back to that are related to affiliate marketing as well as articles that I've either
written or found or a video that I have found that's all about affiliate marketing.
Number 74 Patreon as a podcaster.
So if you are a podcaster and you want to sell a private podcast a great way to do that
is to use something like Patreon or Red Circle to create a membership out of it and to learn
more about how to monetize your podcasting I will leave a link in the show notes as well.
Number 75 is start a YouTube channel.
76 is become a TikTok influencer.
Now I have to mention TikTok influencer because a lot of people are actually getting paid
to promote products on TikTok.
Will it still be around forever?
Who knows I highly recommend you create your own website so you can actually create an
email list and keep in touch with your audience but if you do want to start a TikTok and start
making money that way your best bet is to start going viral.
So I will leave a link on how to make extra money from home on TikTok in the show notes
as well.
And along with that is to become an Instagram influencer or a Facebook influencer as well.
Number 78 is to host a virtual summit.
I did an entire episode about the benefits of participating in a virtual summit for bloggers
and there's a lot of great resources in that episode so I will leave that link in the show
notes as well.
79 now this one is not as popular as it used to be but you can still get paid for live
streaming on Twitch.
Believe it or not you can you know Twitch your excuse me you can stream yourself doing
video gaming or I've even seen people do things like DJing or singing.
I watched a woman actually create her entire album while live streaming on Twitch.
There's all kinds of options if you choose to use it to make money.
Speaking of music you can become a musician online.
You can stream your own music on websites like Spotify or YouTube music or Apple podcast
or you could even teach virtual music lessons.
There are so many opportunities to make extra money from home with your musical talents.
Number 81 developing apps.
If you are tech savvy and creative you can actually become an app developer.
There are so many different resources out there for how to do it and how to actually
sell things like paid subscriptions and app purchases all the things.
82 is kind of a controversial one but it's NFTs or non-fungible tokens.
There are a variety of digital assets that represent art, music, gaming items, videos
and other real world collectibles.
The kicker with this is you want to make sure you're insured and make sure that you have
all your I's dotted and your T's crossed because there's a lot of issues that have been happening
with NFTs but who knows it could be your way to make money from home that makes you rich.
And another controversial one is making money with Bitcoin.
Cryptocurrency has become significantly more mainstream in recent years but if you know
how to use it and you know what you're doing it can be a highly lucrative way if you know
how to master the system.
I personally don't.
I don't know how to do anything with it but it is a way you can actually make money online.
Number 84 test apps and websites.
Believe it or not you can go to websites like test birds, user testing or even userlytics
and connect real world technology consumers with website app developers.
So you can see if you find software bugs, offer feedback or improve the overall user
experience and get paid for your time.
Number 85 is another controversial one but believe it or not it did not actually start
as what most people think it did and that is OnlyFans.
Though most people actually believe that it started as a way for sex workers to make money
online, the truth was it was supposed to be a way to connect people with their fans.
So it has become a little bit of a raunchy subject but you can still use it to monetize
your video content by building a following of paid subscribers.
Whether you're doing makeup tips or fashion tips or you're trying to do cooking tutorials
and guided workouts, there's a potential audience out there for every single topic.
Number 86 become an online model.
Believe it or not you can take pictures of yourself and become an online model on websites
like Model Mayhem or Purple Port.
You can find paid gigs online and learn all about how to become a model for different
jobs for websites, for imprint, all the things.
Number 87 is medical coding and billing.
Yawn, I'm just kidding.
I know that some people get very excited by medical coding and billing but personally
for me it's a snooze fest but it is definitely a way you can make money online and you can
use websites like Indeed, ZipRecruiter or even AviaCode to find contract work doing
this.
Work as a virtual personal trainer is number 88.
If you have a dream of being able to make a living from your passion for health and
fitness you could become a virtual personal trainer and you could start using social media
and blogging to build your following and then sell online courses or even use a website
like OnlyFans to sell your membership of your personal training.
Number 89, very similar to the personal trainer is to earn money online as a fitness instructor.
There are actually people who sell exercise classes on websites like about bodybuilding
or CrossFit or Pilates, yoga, all the things.
Some people what they'll do is they'll give away their classes for free on a website like
YouTube and then they'll have in the description of their videos ways that people can either
pay for the content or they could do things like buy me a coffee or all the PayPal donations,
all the things.

Number 90, make money from home on swag books.
I mentioned this earlier whenever I was talking about surveys but they do a lot more than
just filling out surveys.
You can actually also get paid to watch videos, shop online, play video games and even just
use their search engine.
And then you take the points that you're earning and use them for things like cash rewards,
coupons and gift cards.
Now is it a way to get rich?
Absolutely not.
But if you're looking to make money online and you have a little bit of extra time, swag
books is a great way to do it.
Number 91 is sell stock images online.
If you're an ambitious photographer with a keen eye for aesthetics you can actually make
money from home by selling stock photos online.
I've seen people do everything from creating elaborate sets in their own home to creating
product images and all the things and they sell these photos on websites like Adobe Stock
or Dreamstime, iStockphoto and Shutterstock.
Number 92, very similar to the selling stock images online is selling stock video footage.
This is actually more prevalent than ever as more people are trying to get their videos
on YouTube, they're looking for what's known as B-roll.
So from leisure and travel to lifestyle and sports videos, companies are looking for stock
video footage of a bunch of different things for a bunch of different niches.
So there's a lot of different websites you can sell stock videos on but a few of them
that are very well known are Pond5 and VideoHive and actually I think there's also a way that
you can sell on Vimeo as well.
Number 93 is write book reviews and summaries.
Now this could be twofold.
One is that you could sell your writing for websites like Kirkus Media or the US Review
of Books or you could actually create a book review website where you're reviewing books
and then you sell it through affiliate marketing.
Number 94, do market research.
So again this is similar to the surveys that were mentioned in episode one, part one of
this 101 ways to make money online.
And basically what it is is companies need to know how consumers feel about their products
and services and they're willing to pay for your opinions.
So you can go online to websites like Small Business Knowledge Center, Nielsen Computer
and Mobile Panel, a bunch of different websites and do market research studies and get paid
in cash and gift cards.
Some of them however just a heads up, they only pay you in product and those are obviously
the ones that are not going to give you what you're looking for.
If you're looking for actual money, don't choose the ones where you're getting paid
in product.
Number 95, share your expertise on a website like Just Answer.
If you've established yourself as a qualified expert in your field, you can make extra money
answering questions from home related to your area of expertise.
It's free to apply on a website like Just Answer and then you just go through their
verification process which usually takes a week or two but you can set your own hours,
choose the questions you want to answer and then start earning money instantly as you
help others.
Number 96 I have to say is another controversial one but some people are actually making pretty
big money with this and that is peer to peer lending.
If you use online platforms like Kiva, Prosper and Peerform, it connects lenders with borrowers
through a secure and streamlined application process.
Now of course this means you have to already have money to be able to make money but it
is a way to make money online and from home.
Number 97 is to start your own consulting business.
Whether you specialize in finance, HR, marketing, technology, whatever the case may be, you
can capitalize on your knowledge and experience by starting a consulting business.
You can then advertise your service on freelance websites or apply for remote consultant positions
through online boards.
Whatever you choose to do with starting a consulting business, I highly recommend you
create your own website so that you can use that as your portfolio and your base of how
people can find you.
Number 98, yet another controversial one is make money from home doing what's called credit
card churning.
I do not recommend this at all but there are actually some people that make big bank from
doing this and basically what it is is many banks and credit unions are offering rewards
for opening credit cards and meeting minimum spending requirements.
Basically the way that it works is once you are done earning these profits, you cancel
the card.
You collect your sign up bonus, then you stop using the card, you cancel the account before
you have to pay any annual fees.
I have an article that you can read if you want to learn more about credit card churning.
Again though, it's one that makes me very nervous but I would be remiss if I didn't
at least include it in how to make money from home.
And number 100 is earn cash rewards for losing weight.
If you're looking for extra motivation to lose weight, you can consider signing up for
a website like Healthy Wage.
The way that it works is you say that you're going to lose a certain amount of weight and
if you get that number that you're trying to hit, you can make money.
So how it works, you say what your goal is and you place a bet and deposit cash.
If you meet the monthly target, you get your initial wager back and you earn a reward based
on how much you put in.
But if you do not meet your weight loss goal, you lose the money.
So some people think that that's not a good idea because it's basically gambling with
your weight.
But if you're looking to lose weight and make money from home, that is an idea.
And finally number 101 is teaching English online.
Now every single article I have ever read about how to make money from home mentions
teaching online English classes as a fantastic way to earn money working from home.
You don't actually need prior classroom experience, but most online language schools do require
potential teachers to have a current Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification.
There are a lot of different ways that you can apply to be an English teacher who's teaching
people that don't know how to speak English how to speak English.
And it could be a really easy way for you to make money from home if you have the ability
to do so.
I'll leave some links for all the different ways that you can do this.
And hopefully one of these ideas inspired you to start figuring out ways that you could
diversify your income streams.
So whether your goal is supplementing your income or making a full-time switch to working
remotely, there are obviously as I think you have learned from these two episodes, there's
a wide variety of accessible options for how to make extra money from home.
What I recommend you do now is identify your strengths, your goals, and your priorities
to find an online side hustle that works for you.
And if you determine that what you're trying to do to make money from home doesn't light
your fire, pick something else.
The great thing about how we're living in these times is you can do so many different
things from home.
